Helping other makes us good people, and that it what Angelina do. She helps to creat a better world, to stop people suffering because they dont have food, education or a shelter. To have a world with fewe problems. Only helping one on a time we make the change. One at a time.

To help othres takes alot of determination, passion and courage because you can see horrific thing like a chlildren starved, beaten, people in jail... yo can see anithing, and its very easy to talj about it or to give money to any fundation but instead of doing that we should act and put us to work and prevent situations like that.

RAISE FUNDS

She raked in $30 million US dollars for filming projects, including "Kung Fu Panda II", "Cleopatra", she contribute with money, open her closet to donate cloth and sing all jind of items for an auction to provide funds for earthquake victims.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated over $340,000 to an aid initiative in Somalia through their Jolie-Pitt Fundation.

They make charity donation to Tornado Victims, have given $500,000 to help a Missuiri town.

Jolie travelled to the Tunisian-Libyan border to urge greated international support for people fleeing fighting in Lybia.

Jolie-Pitt Fundation has donated $150,000 to SOS Children´s Villages.

She visited refugee camps in Turkey to meet people who has escaped the violent military crackdown.

Jolie-Pitt Fundation

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie established the Foundation Jolie-Pitt in 2006 to assist with humanitarian crises around the world. to launch the foundation, the pair made donations os $1 million US dollars to Doctors without Borders and Global Actions for Children.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt Fundation is committed to environmental security, creating peace and stability in all countries by planning and implementing inventions that prevent negative environmental changes. Working with impoverished rural villages and local goverments to alleviate food, insecurities and ibcrease access to basic primary healthcare and education.

Humanitarian Efforts

She started to travel a lot a years ago all around the world and she realize that thers so much that she dindt know of the world, that are many problems everywhere. To get home the first thing she did was contact the UN to know what she could do to help people having a hard time.

She startder to take lessons in Washington to learn how she can help and was what she could do and warned that any reported could not accompany her, no camaras.

Jolie started to work with the UNHCR.

The Beginning...


Angelina Jolie is renowned as an Academy Award winning actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador.



During the filming of Tom Raised in Cambodia, Jolie became aware of worldwide humanitarian crises. She contacted the CNHCR, the refugee agency of the United Nation, to learn more about the international problems. In February 2001, Jolie wento on her first field visit, an 18-days mission to Sierra Leone and Tanzania. On August 27, 2001 Jolie was named CNHCR Goodwill Ambassador to CNHCR headquarters in Geneva.



Jolie was visited centers for refugees and displaced persons in over 20 countries.



Jolie is heavily involved in promoting humanitarian relief politics. Since 2003 she regularly meets with members of the U.S. Congress to lobby for humanitarians affairs, and she was a driving force behind several bills to promote the situation of refugees and vulnerable children in third world countries.
